People know Aj by his big calves. And ears. He’s one of probably only a few people who has worn construction boots to play volleyball. He was born on the beach and stayed there until Newark New Jersey beckoned. After seven years he left for California as some sort of engineer. Who knows. He played so much volleyball in Hermosa that people nicknamed him “Reps”. What a dork.

He has a wife so stop asking him out on dates, ladies. One time he made raw cheesecake and his friend said it wasn’t sweet enough. That was a heavy blow to Aj’s ego/wallet because Aj spent at least $30 on the ingredients. No joke. Aj’s wallet is now just a bunch of credit cards and cash lumped together by a rubber band. Sometimes he holds a mini hard drive in there too. Aj doesn’t really watch TV but he likes Chappelle’s Show and The Office. But seriously, who doesn’t? Okay, his wife hates Chappelle. Foolish.

Aj has read a lot of books that you’d never expect him to have read, and I’m not just talking about dorky Structural Mechanics books from college. He thinks that eating one french fry is the equivalent of smoking one cigarette. I wonder what’s worse: Smoking a french fry or eating a cigarette. Aj spends what seems like forever on uploading mp3s to his phone. Half the time he gets on the plane and realizes that he messed something up and somehow uploaded a Kermit the Frog song four times.
