Transportation Information

UPDATED MARTA INFO:

Report to Peachtree Center MARTA Station (connected to the downtown Marriott and Hyatt locations). There will be representatives with "Big South Qualifier" signs. You will receive a MARTA pass if you are carrying a blue wristband.

Stops are indicated on the MARTA list you have been given. That list shows the gymnasiums. You will be picked up by a shuttle to go to your location.


Playing Sites with Corresponding MARTA Stops
  • –GICC + Hartsfield CC: College Park Station
  • –Cobb Centre: Dunwoody
  • –Gwinnett + Suwanee: Doraville
    (last stop on North Line, -make sure you get aboard the North Line, there are two lines running Northbound. Doraville is the last stop on the North Line.)
  • –Georgia Tech: Midtown Station
  • –Georgia State: Georgia State University Station (GSU Station), no shuttle (already on campus)

There will be staff from "Presenting Atlanta" at each of these stations. They will assist with further directions.

MARTA passes can be used the entire weekend for any MARTA-provided transportation.

There is a MARTA representative at the airport with the most current information.

Peachtree Center Mall has extended its hours and will be open and accessible from 7am – 12am on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. A few of the food court outlets have agreed to stay open until 11pm throughout the weekend.

Georgia State Arena

  1. Take the MARTA train to the MARTA Five Points train station.
  2. Exit the train and walk to the eastbound platform. Take any eastbound train one (1) stop to the MARTA Georgia State Train Station (E1).
  3. Exit the station to Piedmont Road, turn right and walk one (1) block to Decatur Street.
  4. Turn left and walk 1/2 block to the Georgia State Arena on the right.


Georgia Tech O’Keefe Gym

  1. Take the MARTA train to the MARTA Midtown train station (N4). Exit the station to Peachtree Place (This is the south-side). Wait outside the station exit and the trolley will pull up there.
  2. Take the Georgia Tech Trolley to 5th Street and Techwood Drive. Exit the Trolley and walk one (1) block to the O’Keefe gym on the left.


Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center

  1. Take the MARTA train to the MARTA Midtown train station (N4). Exit the station to Peachtree Place (This is the south-side). Wait outside the station exit and the trolley will pull up there.
  2. Take the Georgia Tech Trolley to Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center (750 Ferst Drive).
